Osborne Molatudi

Osborne is the visionary behind Molatudi Attorneys. He completed his B Proc and LLB degrees (6 years) at both the University of Limpopo (formerly Turfloop) in 1993 and University of KwaZulu-Natal, Howard College in 1995.In 1996, he commenced his articles at Deneys Reitz Attorneys (now Norton Rose Fulbright Attorneys). During his time at Deneys Reitz Attorneys, Osborne was exposed to various aspects of legal practice that included employment and labour law. That is when he developed an interest in labour law, and from then it became his area of specialization. Osborne later joined Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg as an Associate and was immediately promoted to a Senior Associate position.

In 2002, Osborne left the legal practice and ventured into corporate business environment where worked for Henkel South Africa as a Human Resource Manager and Executive during which he was also a member of the company’s EXCO. He was later transferred to Dubai, UAE to concentrate on the company’s Adhesive Technologies for MENA (Middle East North Africa) Region. During this period, he worked as Regional HR Key Account Executive Manager providing HR Professional support to all Adhesive Technology units doing business in the MENA region.

Zanele Chauke

Zanele joined our Firm in November 2021 as the Senior Associate. She completed her LLB degree at the University of Witwatersrand in 2010. After completion of her articles, Zanele was exposed to various aspects of legal practice that included employment and labour law. She gained insightful exposure to labour law and from this foundation, she took the decision to specialize in that field.

In her years of practice, Zanele represented various trade unions (including NUM, NUMSA, FAWU, SAMWU and SATAWU) in various dispute resolution forums. She was actively involved in a number of urgent applications, amongst others, that were brought by and against the trade unions at the Labour Court. Zanele was also involved in disputes relating to individual and mass dismissal disputes, collective bargaining disputes and labour training for the trade unions shop stewards.

She further acted for some of the major corporate companies as well as State Owned Entities (SOEs), both in various dispute resolution fora, CCMA, Bargaining Council, Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court. Zanele handled many internal disciplinary proceedings, of both junior and senior employees, wherein she prosecuted in disciplinary hearings, chaired in disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings and appeal hearings. We are confident that being part of our team, Zanele will bring further high-quality legal service and assistance to our valued clients.

Washington Zindoga

SENIOR associate

Washington joined both Molatudi Advisory Services and the Firm from inception as an Associate and has been a valuable member of the team with a keen interest in employer-employee internal enquiries, CCMA, and Labour Court litigation matters. He completed his LLB degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2014 and LLM degree in Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town in 2015. Washington worked at RSM SA (Pty) Ltd as legal assistant and was exposed to drafting commercial agreements and advising clients on various legal matters.

Upon completion of his articles, Washington was admitted as an attorney in March 2020 and continues to focus on all key aspects of employment and labour law. He also assists clients with matters of a commercial nature, drafting and reviewing their agreements intended to be concluded with 3rd party service providers.

Sayi Nindi

Sayi Nindi joined our Firm as a Consultant in September 2021. She completed her LLB and LLM degrees at the University of Pretoria. Sayi was admitted as an attorney in 2009 after completion of her articles at Gildenhuys Malatji Attorneys. She worked at the Legal Resources Centre – Constitutional Litigation Unit where she specialized in private sector accountability litigation. During her tenure at the Legal Resource Centre, Sayi acted on behalf of various communities and individuals who have challenged multinational corporations or multimillion-dollar projects for human rights violation. She also presented at various international conferences and workshops including making submissions at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland; and the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights in Banjul, Gambia.

Sayi is currently a director at Malatji & Co. She has advised different public entities and government departments on appropriate procurement processes, assisted in legal issues arising when tenders are evaluated, represented government where tender awards are challenged; advised on decisions that must be taken lawfully, procedurally fairly and reasonably; conducted judicial reviews of decisions made by government and other organs of state.

As part of her employment law practice, Sayi advises and represents clients in all employment law related litigation matters, including internal enquiries, private arbitration and dispute resolution, statutory arbitration tribunals as well as at the Labour Court. She further assists clients in initiating or chairing disciplinary enquiries as well conducting investigations on all employment and labour law issues affecting our clients. Sayi has also recently acted as a Judge of the Labour Court, Johannesburg. She is indeed seen as a valuable member of our Team, both in an advisory and practice capacity, in respect of all employment and labour law needs of our clients across the board.

Simba Tavuka

Simba Takuva is a legal professional who has over 15 years’ experience as a skilled General Counsel, managing the full spectrum of legal risk, corporate governance, and company secretarial services. He started his career at Werksmans Attorneys, during which time in practice he built core excellence in legal drafting, regulatory risk management, transaction advisory, contract management and dispute resolution.

Simba refined his skills as General Counsel in companies within the listed and private sector in South Africa, managing enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution across subsidiaries within sub-Saharan Africa. Simba’s core expertise is in corporate and commercial law, with specific focus on, Corporate governance, Contract management, Regulatory compliance, Transaction advisory, Dispute Resolution.

Simba holds an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and is an admitted attorney in South Africa.

Jordin Tribe

CONSULTANT attorneY

Ms Jordin Tribe graduated with LL B from UNISA (cum laude) in 2018 and joined our Firm as a Candidate Attorney in February 2023. Prior to joining us, Jordin worked at MAN Automotive South Africa (Pty) Ltd where she was exposed to various corporate and commercial matters for 7 years. She has already passed her Board exams and awaiting admission.

Jabulile Khundayi

Ms Jabulile Khundayi graduated with LLB from Wits 2023 and joined our firm as our second candidate attorney in May 2023. As part of her articles, Jabulile provides all the necessary legal assistance, and research work expected of a candidate legal practitioner.

Galeboe is a seasoned HR/ER professional with over 25 years of experience across different sectors in the economy with global and local companies. Qualified with two law degrees and currently reading for a masters in law, his experience includes managing complex restructuring across the FMCG and mining services industries, leading and managing sometimes tense and complex collective bargaining & strike resolutions, and both individual and collective dispute resolution across FMCG, retail, mining services, banking, transportation and logistics industries. He brings with into our consulting offerings to our clients deep insights from the frontline, having been at the leading front of managing the increasing challenges of employment relations, mediation and dispute resolution across different industries and sectors of the economy.
